Early AGA cookers were designed as solid fuel appliances, but in the renovation process these can be re-engineered by AGA-TWYFORD to approved AGA Rangemaster Ltd. standards to burn oil, natural gas, or propane as required.
The re-engineering process is a tried and tested procedure and is not to be confused with the "conversion" process, which does not produce the required oven temperatures. AGA-TWYFORD is pleased to continue offering De-Luxe AGA Cooker models prepared for Solid Fuel firing.
A large part of AGA-TWYFORD'S business is renovating and selling the more recent purpose built models, i.e. maintaining the original factory specifications of oil, gas and L.P.G.

recently AGA-TWYFORD are the only renovators offering high
specification renovated 13 amp electric AGA cookers using all brand new AGA Rangemaster Ltd. components.
Details of the latest developments in pressure set oil burners are available on request.
We guarantee the performance and efficiency of our Renovated cookers, and many thousands of satisfied customers will attest to our expertise in these matters. AGA-TWYFORD is the only company to be approved by AGA Rangemaster Ltd. to carry out AGA cooker renovations.
The oil fired Renovated AGA cooker is designed to run using a conventional flue system unlike a gas AGA Cooker which can be designed to use a conventional or balanced flue configuration. Gas powered flue AGA cookers are available but on a limited basis – please call for information (01568-611124).
Most Renovated AGA Cookers are available with internal heat exchangers if required and will then produce lashings of boiling water for baths and other domestic hot water needs. An AGA cooker in itself will not run central heating, however for a combination of cooking, hotwater and central heating please go to our Rayburn Cooker section.
