If you already have an AGA cooker and feel that it is in need of some tender loving care, then take heart –AGA TWYFORD can restore it to its former glory!  Whether your AGA cooker needs a complete overhaul, a fuel change, or whether you are just tired of the colour and simply want to re-enamel it, we can provide a comprehensive renovation service to meet your specific requirements.

Our Service

As you will note from our enclosed brochure and from our website at www.twyford-cookers.com , we do not compromise in any way on our renovation process. Once all the external castings have been re-enamelled to the colour of your choice, and all the other aspects of the renovation process have been completed, your newly renovated AGA cooker is fully re-assembled in our factory. Following a full inspection under our strict quality control procedures, the AGA cooker is then dismantled, boxed and wrapped in readiness for re-delivery to your site. We never deliver in one piece as this can cause untold damage and will almost certainly affect the functioning of your AGA cooker.

Building and Re-Commissioning On Your Site

Prices quoted include the pick up, dismantling and transport to our factory in readiness for renovation work. They also include the return to your site after completion of the renovation work. Prices do NOT however include (except in the case of re-enamelling top and lids only) the final rebuild and re-commissioning on site. We are of course able to organise this for you with one of 50 independent engineers that we have certified to carry out such work on our behalf. You can expect a seamless operation from pick up to re-installation. As a general guide, the independent installers charge around £500 - £600 (+ Vat) for installing and commissioning a 2 oven AGA Cooker and £500 + Vat for a 4 oven. These prices are estimates based on your site being fully pre-prepared (i.e. Chimney lined or flue ready, roof cowl fitted, plinth down, and fuel supply near the cooker).

You can be assured that any independent installer recommended by AGA-TWYFORD will have had a wealth of experience in building and commissioning our renovated AGA cookers. Many of the installers are former employees of AGA-TWYFORD having been trained by us over a number of years. We are confident that all our recommended installers have the skills experience, and formal qualifications (OFTEC, HEATAS, GAS SAFE REGISTERED ENGINEERS) required in order for them to offer you a quality installation and after service contract.

AGA-TWYFORD offers a 5 year guarantee on all their renovations. (one year parts and labour and four years parts only)

History of Success

AGA-TWYFORD have been in business for 15 years. During this period we have sold, renovated, and installed over 10,000 renovated AGA cookers. In 2007 the company entered into a trading arrangement with AGA Rangemaster Ltd. and changed its name to AGA-TWYFORD. It is now the only company authorised by AGA Rangemaster Ltd. to carry out AGA Cooker renovations.

We currently have AGA cookers in operation throughout the U.K. and abroad ( Spain, Holland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Japan and the U.S.A. ). We have agents and distributors in the U.S.A. and Australia.

Renovation Options For Your Own AGA Cooker - Prices Include Vat.

AGA-TWYFORD is the Only Renovator Authorised by AGA Rangemaster Ltd. Please note that if you have a Post 1974 AGA we can supply you with a new AGA  Cooker Module to match @ £3650 inc. vat

This consists of a fuel change (if required) or the complete overhaul/replacement of your existing burner, re-enamelling to your colour choice (see colour ranges enclosed), shot blasting of the cast iron internal components, replacement of back and sides, lid liners, lid seals, lid cords, oven tunnels, door liners, grills, trays, thermometer, thermostat, chrome parts, machining of simmering and boiling plates, new insulation and fastenings, re-engineering of the barrel and ashpit ( if required). In short a full and complete job which will return your AGA cooker to you just like it was when it was new with fully effective operating temperatures.In this option rebuilding and re-commissioning on site is extra at around £500 to £600.Please note that model and type changes are possible i.e. 2 to 4 oven, conventional flue to balanced or powered etc. against extra costs ( Please call us for details ).

In cases where it is possible and practical to offer an exchange of front and doors we will do so. We will bring the replacements to site and carry out the exchange. Inclusive of delivery and re-commissioning of your cooker.
