AGA Twyford officially opens its doors

County mayors, dignitaries and business owners gathered to celebrate the official opening of AGA twyford's new Leominster-based cookware showroom.

Staff welcomed more than 40 visitors to the special event at Marches Trade Park in Brunel Road earlier this month.
Sir Ben Gill, chairman of Visit Herefordshire was also in attendance along with mayor of Hereford Julie Woodward and deputy mayor of Leominster Peter McCaull.

AGA food doctor Richard Maggs was on hand to produce some delicious food cooked in the AGA during the event which was also attended by Mike Bufton Managing Director of AGA Rangemaster and Angela McPake Sales Director of AGA Rangemaster.
The evening came to a close when AGA Twyford’s general manager, John Anker drew the winning raffle ticket which raised more than £225 for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK.
The winner took home more than £200-worth of Betty Twyford baking products.
AGA Twyford moved to Leominster Enterprise Park relocating in the large purpose built factory, offices and showroom. The showroom has been designated as a Deluxe Design Centre by AGA Rangemaster Ltd and is featured on the Rangemaster website.

Rose Norman for AGA Twyford said: “"We were delighted that so many people came to our special event. We wanted to showcase our new facilities and celebrate our expansion. Having all the extra space means that our customers can come and see lots of different models and makes of cooker, wood burning stoves and cookware, and even see demonstrations which, we hope, will help them visualise what the products will look like in their own home."
The showroom is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 10.30am until 4.30pm.

AGA Twyford's new Betty Shop is officially declared open.
Special cookery demonstrations and the chance to win more than £200-worth of kitchen kit proved to be a huge hit with visitors to a new cookware showroom in Leominster on Saturday.
Staff welcomed more than 60 people to a special openday at the AGA Twyfordshowroom at Marches Trade Park on Saturday (October 1).
Betty’s luscious baking hamper worth more than £200 was also up for grabs as part of a special charity raffle and so far staff and visitors have raised £130 for Make-A-Wish Foundation. The lucky winner will receive an array of baking products including an AGA Kmix hand mixer.

Demonstrations led by Rangemaster specialist Lindsey Payne and Marcia Poole also proved popular and top jam-maker, Sara-Jane Brough from The Ludlow Jam Pan was also on hand to make delicious Japonica ornamental quince and coriander jelly.

AGA TWYFORD Limited have moved to a large new factory and showroom in Leominster (Herefordshire)
On April 30th 2010 AGA Rangemaster Ltd. discontinued the colour PILLAR BOX RED. Also due to the WEEE directive they, and we, will no longer be able to supply PILLAR BOX RED OR CLARET 13 amp AGA Cookers, 6/4 AGA COOKERS, Modules, and Four-Two models.
Rayburn Ranges, Masterchef, and OIL and GAS AGA cookers will still be available in CLARET but only by special request.
