Dirty Enamel with Baked on Deposits of Grease
Using the "Aga-Twyford Enamel Paste" wearing gloves, and paying attention to any manufacturers warnings, apply paste liberally with a damp cloth or pad, rub well, rinse and clean. DO NOT USE on stainless steel lids, brass or copper. For chrome and metal apply with a damp cloth, rub gently, and rinse clean. Do not use on delicate surfaces. When dry wipe with the "E" cloth to give good final finish.
Regular Cleaning of Slightly Dirty Enamel
Wear gloves, avoid any inhalation of the spray cleaner, use eye protection and do not spray onto the actual cooking surfaces. Spray the "Aga-Twyford Enamel Spray Cleaner" onto the hot enamel surface with cooker lids down. Work on a small area at a time. Wipe clean with the "E" cloth after a subsequent light application of the spray.
Cleaning of Cooking Surfaces
A high quality small wire brush is supplied with the kit so you may clean the surfaces of your hot plate and simmering plate. Wear gloves for this and be careful of the hot surface.
The Cleaning Scraper
On the odd occasion you may find it difficult to remove very baked on grease from your cooker. We have supplied a top of the line scraper to enable you to do this. Make sure that you only use this scraper FLAT to the surface of the enamel or you may scratch it.
Stainless Steel Lid Cleaning
Apply the spray cleaner and polish off gently. Very hard to move dirt can be removed with the use of VERY FINE GRADE wire wool, BUT ONLY in conjunction with the cleaner. DO NOT USE THE WIRE WOOL DRY.
Aga-Twyford Enamel Paste
For cleaning heavy baked on deposits of grease from vitreous enamel surfaces. The best product to use to get your enamel surface into prime condition.
Aga-Twyford Enamel Cleaning Spray
A non-aerosol spray which does not emit any harmful propellents. This is designed to be used on a daily basis to maintain your enamel surfaces in tip top condition.
It should be noted that this is a cleaning kit NOT a repair kit. Special Enamel repair kits are available from Aga-Twyford in most colours.
Safety
As with any pressurised container or aerosol, any use by deliberate concentration and/or inhalation of the contents may prove harmful or even fatal. Protect from direct sunlight and do not pierce or burn even when empty. Use only as directed. Do not store on or close to the cooker as excessive heat will cause air pressure to increase and container may rupture allowing air to escape.
Eye Contact
Wash out immediately with water. If necessary contact a Doctor.
If Swallowed
Do NOT induce vomiting and consult a Doctor.
Skin Contact
Always use gloves. Wash exposed areas with soap and water.
