Falcon Cooker Features

Key Features

The Falcon Gas Hob The Roll-out Grill The Ceramic Grill The Tall Oven
Offers five professional standard burners, including a 5kW central burner, essential for the high temperatures needed, to create wonderful stir fried dishes. Four cooking positions, allowing you to grill the thickest steak or the thinnest of fish fillets. Smooth operating, the grill allows you to cook safely with no lifting of a hot grill pan to turn or check the food. Offers virtually instant response with no delay in heating up. For economy or smaller portions, only the centre section can be used. The unique tall fan oven featured in the 900 Deluxe and the 1000 Deluxe models perfectly combines high performance with enormous practicality.

Multi Functional Oven

Defrost
Ideal for defrosting small items such as desserts, cream cakes and small pieces of meat and fish.
Conventional Oven
This function combines the heat from the top and base elements, therefore is ideally suited to roasting or baking pastry, cakes and biscuits.
Fan Oven
Particularly suitable for baking on several shelves at the one time, as an even heat is produced throughout the oven.
Browning Element
Suitable for browning or finishing dishes, such as lasagne or cauliflower cheese.
Fanned Grilling
Less fierce than a conventional grill. Thick pieces of meat or fish are ideal for grilling in this way, as the circulated air reduces the fierceness of the heat from the grill.
Base Heat
Ideal for crisping up the base of a quiche or pizza. With the gentle heat, it is also good for slow cooking casseroles or plate warming.
Fan Assisted Oven
Ideal function for cooking large items that need thorough cooking, such as a large meat roast.

Cleaning your Falcon

Don’t waste precious leisure time cleaning – Falcon has addressed cleanliness from all angles to produce arguably the most easy-to-clean cookers on the market.

Starting from the top, our one-piece hotplates are seamlessly moulded, leaving no cracks and crannies for spillages to hide. On gas hob models, the enamel burner caps are completely dishwasher safe, and pan supports are also small enough to pop in the dishwasher or sink with ease. Induction cookers are even easier to clean because the cooking surface is flat and smooth, and unencumbered by pan stands or controls. In addition, because the surface isn’t heated, any spillages won’t burn on and so are easy to wipe clean. Next removable control knobs provide obstruction-free cleaning of the fascia. Finally, our ovens all feature catalytic liners, which carbonise splashes automatically during cooking, so you’ll never have to scrub the oven again.

Induction Hob Technology

Residual Heat Indicator
One of the benefits of using induction is that the temperature of the glass surface remains considerably cooler than a ceramic hob, where the food is cooked by heating the glass beneath. However, during long spells of cooking, or when a high power rating is selected, the glass may become too hot to touch. If the glass at any cooking zone rises above 60°C, the hob will indicate that the zone should not be touched. The display will continue until the temperature drops to a safe (touchable) level.

Induction is available on the 1092 Deluxe, Continental, 900 Deluxe & 900S.

People with cardiac pacemakers or implanted insulin pumps must make sure that their implants are not affected by the induction hob. (The frequency range of the induction hob is 20-60kHz).
